This was a really cool commission given to me by Reason [link] In all the 'how to draw comic book' guides you've got a standard hero and heroine ideal proportion diagram but to our knowledge, no one has yet devised a version of one of these for the female bodybuilder. Reason asked me if I'd be able to create something along the lines of the traditional 'Loomis' drawing and this is the end result.
So far as I can gather, it's pretty anatomically correct but if there's a few errors you'll have to forgive me, more to the point, we're drawing comics so I can allow a little bit of licence! I'll also throw in the disclaimer that these might not be everybody's ideal proportions for a female bodybuilder, each to their own and all that. However, guided by the original Loomis drawing with some anatomical direction from Reason, I feel that this is a pretty good representation of what people find attractive in the female bodybuilder. Thanks again to Reason for the commish, hope this proves useful as a tutorial and even more enjoyable as a piece of art! |

I wish that I drinked. I know it won't solve my problems, but at least I'll have something to blame my problems on.

Do you know how to save a drowning lawyer? No? Good!
The hips should probably be near two heads wide? if she loses the classic hourglass shape and takes on the male Y shape.
