It's been a while since I've uploaded anything because I've been super busy, and still am, but this is the latest comic style commission I've had from Shag49931 [link] for his City of Heroes roleplay arc ESCALATION. I'm not a role-player myself but it sounds really cool and has had good reviews from other players at the forum AND it's not been out that long either! Hence the promo poster.
I drew this sucker on A2 paper (and it still didn't fit!) to make sure I got in all the detail, scanned it in as 6 separate pieces and tiled it together. The whole thing is rendered digitally in photoshop which gets really cool results but takes ages. I did a lot more inking on this piece than I usually do, not sure why, possibly 'cos I wanted to make sure it looked as much like a comic cover as possible.
