Apex Commission

This is the big one. Possibly my favourite so far (next to Limpet Woman.) Pumpmonger [link] kindly commissioned me to do another one of his characters after I'd done my version of Red for him, so, looking through his gallery I found Apex. Totally different type of character to Red, there aren't too many flying muscle babes around so I thought this would be a cool picture to draw. And I was right.

However, I am NEVER drawing a city skyline again! Unless of course I get employed by one of the big comic companies. I'm really pleased with how it turned out but man, there is so much detail in a cityscape I didn't know where to begin... or stop. Now I know how Ryan Ottley felt when he did that Invincible Poster!

The original pencil drawing was inked and scanned into photoshop and rendered entirely in photoshop. This took quite some time but was totally worth it.
